Lagos

Hugo2024-01-03T18:52:52+00:00

Lagos is so popular with visitors for its gastronomy and cultural heritage, made up of welcoming people and magical, beautiful beaches where your photos look like postcards.

In Lagos you can find giant sculptures made by the waves and the crystal sea. The iridescent caves!

The many beaches snuggled up against ochre cliffs or stretching out on a soft sandy beach. The houses sprinkling the soft green landscape with white. Discover one of the most attractive corners of the Algarve.

In Lagos you have the chance to go on various themed walks and hikes. Here are some suggestions!

You can download the map of the trail with MP3 or MP4 player, and the technical sheet.

Walking routes

In Barão de S. João, in the National Forest, there is also a 6.1 kilometre walking trail called “Pedra do Galo”, which recreates a popular legend of the inhabitants of the village of Barão de S. João.
